Jonah Wolfson, Esq., hails from Miami, Florida, where he was born and raised. He attended high school locally and later pursued a degree in English at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. During his college days, he took up work on a commercial fishing boat in Gloucester, Massachusetts, to support himself financially. After completing his undergraduate studies, Jonah embarked on a thrilling adventure, spending approximately five months hiking the Appalachian Trail. This soul-searching journey helped shape his perspective on life and law. Subsequently, he enrolled in law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law. While pursuing his legal education, Jonah interned at the Cook County Office of the Public Defender, where he gained valuable experience trying several cases to verdict. It was in Chicago where he also met his loving wife, Andrea. After completing law school, he returned to his hometown in Florida and successfully passed the bar exam on his first attempt. Since then, Jonah has been dedicated to practicing personal injury law, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in complex tort cases, including wrongful death, car accidents, motorcycles, slip and fall, negligent security, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice. However, his true passion lies in representing victims of negligence, and he has been devoted to this cause since 2005. Prior to this, Jonah worked as a litigation attorney for Valle, Craig, Sioli, and Lynott, PA, where he handled insurance defense cases for over three years. Beyond his legal career, Jonah also finds purpose in public service. In 2007, he was elected to the Miami Beach City Commission, where he served on various committees such as Land Use, Finance, Flooding, and Sustainability, and he chaired the "Let Miami Beach Decide" campaign, which successfully fought against a mega development on public land through petition gathering and litigation. Jonah is known for occasionally representing victims of overdevelopment, such as condo associations or residents, further demonstrating his commitment to serving the public.
